Really cool game! The intro was a bit long; I like to be able to see if a game is worthwhile before investing in its story line. But as it turns out, it is!
Gonna be playing this one to the end.
Concept is wonderful, graphics are great, system in general is adequate. Only thing is, as everyone has pointed out, the game is VERY buggy. At one point in a battle I attempted a move command and for some reason the game stopped responding to me halfway through and I had to restart.
Also, you could streamline the interface a bit more and add simple shortcuts... like, for example, if you click anywhere on the grid then it should pop up the 'move' command so you don't have to click through the menu, and you should put the event listener for setting your turning direction on the stage instead of on the tiny, hard to click arrows. Finally, after a move, the menu should default on the previous attack made... that way the player doesn't have to click through the whole menu again.
this game has a lot of potential, but somehow the presentation feels lacking. It's probably that the gameplay is way too simplistic for a turn based strategy game... not too much strategy involved when you only get 2 moves per round.
Awesome game dude! Great concept, good execution. Only thing is it seems like your coding is inefficient, especially regarding your pathing algorythm; when there are lots of enemies on the stage, every time i add a block the game freezes for like half a second.
If you want you can IM me; I have a nice pathing script I've been working on for my own game.

I attacked a mine and at the same time the enemy attacked me. Both battles kinda overlapped each other and it was weird. Then afterwards, none of my troops would return or go anywhere... the icons on the left side would just sit there at 100% and not clear.
This game alternates between being almost impossible, to being incredibly easy... with nothing in between (that is, playing on Super Hard... dont know about the other modes).
