Alright, just encountered a small bug. The chest asked for in the quest has to be build in the factory, despite being spelled the same and having the same recipe as all the other chests. Also the two ranged enemies need just a tiny nerf. You can't really beat them w/o pets (first time around I took my adult dragon- very easy, second time my cat- rather hard). Will the early access version be available on steam? that's the only place where I pay for my games, so i certainly hope so. Anyway nice to see the large amounts of progress in this patch, the one annoying part is the need to travel back and forth just to save the game.
You can save in the inn, but I'm going to make it possible to save in the boat as well (as it is kind of silly to have to give the innkeeper coins just to save). There are actually 2 kinds of chests - treasure chests and normal chests (one craftable, one findable), but I should make the elevator quest complete-able with a treasure chest as well. There are strategies to defeat the ranged enemies easily without familiars, but I might weaken them some. And yeah, the game will be available in Steam!
also a quick suggestion, add a tiny minimap of the current island. Im searching for the fourth portal, and i would like to be able to see where i haven't gone yet.
Is there a way to activate the huge stone golems that i haven't found or is it in a future update? Also what is the purpose of the ghost in the fire cave? For the fourth time, i love this game and am really happy it has an active dev
Can you add online saves? I played this before to completion and learned that it had been updated since. Now I have to go through the whole game again, which, while its fun, is a bit time-consuming. If it's not too much of a hassle, I think the addition of online saves would be widely appreciated. Thanks once again, it's nice to have fun games like this with active developers.
In recent news, several alien spacecraft collided with at least 6 stationary blimps, 3 commercial passenger jets, 6 privately owned biplanes, 4 helicopters that were spinning in circles due to broken rotors, further analysis into tape taken by a sub reveals a stealth plane. All this happened over the stormy north atlantic ocean, with a critical storm warning. One of the pilots who survived says that he was suddenly seized with a sudden and irrational hate of geese flying in flocks of 16 or less
In related news, we have received communication from space, a message stating that we should immediately hand over and/or exterminate any flocks of geese headed by a black goose
Tips: Agility has no practical purpose, therefore don't hunt with Kira, deliver potions, or serve drinks. You only seem to need 10 intelligence, but you need intelligence within the first few days to help the fox. Charisma is rather important and also important early on to get charisma enough to convince the townspeople that the drinks aren't watered down. You should work on charisma until 5 first few days, then after you have strengh work the bar till the end. Strength is important as well, just work in the mines until the limit and you should be fine along with the cleaning boost. Make the obviously right choices, ie. those that rely on your own confidence and kindness. The last choice doesn't actually matter which one you choose as long as you have enough of the right stats. If it allowed you to go over 100 morale you would have 140 at this point. Note to the Dev. I would like to find out what I do and where I came from, considering that I'm asked that twice.
is there a purpose to the fishing pole? Also Titanium as well should get a purpose other than to be sold. Other improvements could include being able to craft an axe, making the effect of endurance potions clear and being able to do something with the dragons after they hatch, perhaps a further quest line with the alchemist. All in all a good fun game, these were just suggestions.
Titanium already has a planned purpose, and dragons will definitely have more uses in future updates. The fishing rod can be used by equipping it in the inventory, then hitting c (I'll make z auto-fish near coasts next update). And I will make the hidden stats like endurance clearer when I add the equipment window.
