Simple, silly, not bad. I like seeing badges for little games like this one, since I might not play them otherwise, and it's cool to get into a little game like this once in awhile.
While it's great to see a new version to deal with the actual bugs, I'm really disappointed to see how much easier the changes to the scouting and skintflint (sic) trees made the game. It's rare to get a truly challenging strategy game. This was, and now isn't.
"Please make sure you fix the amount of units that come from each side, my left warrior has 28 exp, my right has 7 exp
I placed only those two guys to test it, really really unbalanced, so make sure you fix it."
Part of the game, guy. Sometimes it's even, sometimes it isn't. Unpredictability is just part of the game.
Some bugs that need to be corrected, and I'd rather have seen some new maps instead of the skill tree getting revamped. Still, it's great to have it be more challenging, and the original was so good that this still gets 5/5.
Desperately needs way to turn off the music. Ending disappointing... closure in the first one was satisfying, this one just leaves you hanging. Randomness of finding stuff is frustrating. First two times through were impossible, this time, had four well-armed allies leaving second town, rest was easy. Also, could bypass last two towns easily. First one was good shooter. This one is a step back.
Long game, which is fine, but the boss levels are ridiculously unforgiving, especially given the length of the game with no save points. Knocks it from a 4 star game to a two.
