@jji04: You have to successfully exit the tower for your 'banked' gems to count. 'Banked gems' are a bit of a misnomer, as they aren't saved. It just starts you at the bottom, as a sort of checkpoint, though you can't reload
I would suggest, to all who appreciate the concept, that you should look to Xgen Studios' website in order to play the full game, as there are quite a few bonuses, including the mysterious Lucifer, as well as a revelation as to who the strange man is who is telling you to mine...
after you finish a certain level, you get a star. For the first star, you must complete level 100, then you restart and have to get to 105, and so on, so forth.
cute, but meh. I'd have to ask for a slightly more complicated "story" and perhaps a few more obvious points at who/what to shoot at. Not a bad effort.
