I noticed this when I released and am looking into a solution. A temporary fix is to play it in a separate window (at least this works for me on Firefox.)
Update: I have confirmed that the frame rate drops to 2fps when not in view. I can't change this but I should be able to get my game working correctly at this speed.
Update 2: Fixed!
I would like to be able to work more than one job at a time (still constrained to total hours, but then I might be able to do that whole unpaid internship without getting too unhappy and going broke)
If you want people to come back and check updates on your game, you need a "grab" factor that gives them a reason to return, sadly you don't have that, but you do have clunky controls, no mouse movement, you can infinitely harvest one tree and there is nothing to actually do. I get it, its in progress, but I would have given at least some basic functionality on initial build...
Over time i am adding more things to the game that will make people play. I understand that there is no "grab" factor at the moment and the only reason for people to come back is to look when i update it.
I really want to like this game, but there just doesn't seem to be enough to do.. the upgrades seem superfluous and you don't really need to buy any of them except maybe the one to increase how much you sell water for.
enjoyed it, but it does need more. Different rod upgrades, all upgrades currently do the same thing, maybe upgrades that improve chances of catching a particular type of fish? Upgrades that have a chance of using no bait? Upgrades that have a chance of catching 2x, 3x the fish etc.
