I think an easy way to fix the last upgrade cost being so much higher then gold/kill would be to add a bonus to gold/kill after each completion of all thirty waves.

the only thing i would request is units (humans, orcs, ETC..) in the packs; and if they are currently in the packs to increase their probability slightly
