Ok about 85% of the game is free. Also you can do everything a NG can do except ether tubes for the spectra circuit. People even have nice rooms without paying. Basically just play...(if you have loading problems your internet is slow). Also i know this game needs weapons and armor. End of discussion.
lol Runescape is made like a long time ago. So it has alot of updates during that time. Also we know this game is expensive to get a NG, but you can still fizz stuff and do some quest to get brass everyday. Stop being mad about the game. Even the loading (for slow connections). Just fix it...
