It is a great idea, good lord it is a huge step above other shoot games.
First at least give it more music.
Second I know it is difficult but make it fit to that music.
Third give it a difficulty curve. You get thrown into a really difficult game with not time to try out the controls
Lastly the enimies need to move slower, at least to start out. Its too hard to hit them at the speed they move.
Implement any/all of these and it would be a game well worth badges (well maybe some updated graphics too ;)
Dude what is with the graphics downgrade?
Usually I try not to get tied up in graphics but this is pretty bad considering the first one was so much better.
If this is a sky pirate themed game why am I not using cannons?
Its a little above the average shoot clone but you could have done much more with the backgrounds enemies and powerups.
Oh the lack of an abusing female does annoying me a little though.
I know its answered in your faq and well, but come its a little annoying that there is not even one case of it.
