Since everything is named for roman and greek mythology things i have an idea for a capital ship. Aegis. 5000 armor 1000 shield 20 shield and armor regen.Launches 2 fighters and is armed with almost no weapons since it has so much hp.
Easy way to win most rounds is to build a laser or micro missile launcher at the beginning as well as an extractor.Next, build a miner spawner or .. exhumer spawner you will be mining loads of metal for everything. what you do then is up to you.. mantis spawner, jupiters whatever. just don't let your turret die and don't take too long or else the idiotic ai will spam legions everywhere
Do drones ever die? I am carrying around 10 heavy drones and killing everything before my shield go down with them and wonder, can the pirates shoot the drones or can the drones run out of power if they are left for to long.
needs more leveled loot from officers. i'm finding rare battle lasers from recon officers and rare basic lasers from the bloodwake officers. it's too easy to farm the first boss for good items then barge into the next systems with a rare titanium hull, rare assault shield, rare everything good really.
Just an opinion but each ship should have more to it than less/more stats. like scouts are 2x faster than usual and carriers can carry many more drones.
So i'm wondering... why can't we cell rare/epic modules at stations that will sell the basic version of them? hate scrapping a rare launcher because i can't sell it to the merchants.
Well great. now that i've killed all the pirates all the inmates mine all the asteroids making the galaxy devoid of resources causing everything to become extremely expensive and the whole galaxy goes into a deep depression. What a great game.
Great game. I think there should be a select range you want certain types of weapons to shoot at. Like, say your targeting range is 25. I want to customize so projectile weapons shoots at range 10 , lasers at 25, and missiles at 20. This is to keep my stupid battle cannon from missing an officer enemy even though i am in the targeting range. also a choice for inverted y-axis controls.
Found a very minor bug-I am flying a ship with 150 hull points and i finished fighting the 2nd commander. after he ( more like his minions ) finally busted though my shield they did a few points of damage then i finished them off. when i went to repair it only let me go up to 149 hull points. i can't seem to repair the final point and i don't want to to wind up stacking so that i have 5 hull points max
To unlock the heavy and the fast ships you need to get a high multiplier. To get a high multiplier you have to dodge/scrap bullets and kill enemies very quickly. every time your tension bar maxes your multiplier goes up by 1. If you can dodge the bullets you can worry less about scrapping them and just focus on not getting hit and wiping out every enemy on the screen. By the 2nd part of an episode of this game you should have a 100 multiplier and therefore, both the ships.
