Damn...was hoping this would turn out to be a quick hard badge. Would have been nice if some of the animations were sped up, kind of slow sitting through restart after restart. Concept is definitely fun, but the slowness and some odd 'rules' made this a bit more frustrating than necessary. 3/5
The approach to gameplay reminds me a lot of ADOM (an all-time personal favorite), although this game falls pathetically short in depth and breadth. Still, I love the style... and frankly I need these kind of games that force you to play conservatively. Scored 5/5 to compensate for all the crappy scores from folks who didn't bother to learn the lesson.
Winnable, but doesn't seem to like reporting scores/crediting badges. There are some serious 'data leakage' issues which spring up if you make bad placements. I enjoy the game, but 4/5 for programming issues.
GREAT game. I've been playing a 5-dice version of this game at home for many, many years. Thanks for digitizing it, gaby! 5/5, with a +5 bonus for nostalgia.
Other than an issue with the headshot badge, an enjoyable game. Not the kind I do well with, but fun and well-constructed! 4/5 because it was a bit sluggish on responsiveness, and I'd hate to blame a fairly sleek computer.
Note #1: You only get 4 lives in survival mode. Note #2: Not a very fun engine from a gaming perspective, as there are no patterns to pick up AND you don't know what your guy is going to do (like, which move-forward attack?). Note #3: Kicking is a bit too powerful - didn't these guys know to wear cups? Note #4: After a quick peek at the other comments, not even going to worry about that hard badge.
Nice game, pretty and everything...but it's VERY slow-moving despite the fact that the plot is generic and doesn't develop much. That, plus the silly "you have to have certain skill to beat certain mob" thing knock off a couple points. A very strong 3/5, but couldn't give it the 4.
