You're sick.
While as was fighting the Survival Boss, I was thinking "God, I should have chosen another rage-inducing skill instead of this brutal one, my Nemesis is enough and I need more rage ! If only there were a way to change that !"
And when the boss was at little more than 30k (less than one-third of its life !) I noticed the "Upgrades" button on the bottom right.
"Sweeeet, the game allows us to buff up our character during the fight ! Right what I needed !" And I clicked on it. I FREAKING CLICKED ON IT.
And when I pressed "Fight", after I'd changed my skills, I got back to fighting the boss.
Who was back at 100% life.
DON'T PRESS THIS BUTTON, THIS IS A TRAP SET BY THE PSYCHOPATH THAT CREATED THIS GAME !
Well, I had fun with this game though ^^
Well, the concept is promising, but this is probably only a draft... The graphics are… well, not of my liking, but that might be mu opinion.
The teleportation is not se easy to use, as you tend to get stuck in a wall or a… "rainbow step" while freaking crabs rush at you. Grr.
Oh, and by the way : the crabs are to friggin quick. I mean, it's the beginning of the game, first time you see one, and bam ! It attacks you at like 2,000 mph. And if you try to teleport past him, you end up stuck in front of its jaws... =S
It would be great to have more liberty during battles: choosing in which order we move our characters, attack then move or move then attack, changing weapons (ex: starting with a spear then switching to a blade when the enemy comes close). It could be done by giving each character two actions out of attacking/healing, moving or changing his/her equipment.
And maybe adding equipment: it's a game where you level up by equipping new objects, but you only have weapon and shield =( Adding armor & helm, eg, would add more variety I think.
A lil' feedback on this game :
- the options (class and dragon's element) are cool, that was a good idea !
- the chest that is shared between the characters is a great help too ^^
- I think that the effects of applying a stone on an object should be more visible… I'm not asking for flames or whatever, but maybe something as simple as colored lines/dots/lightnings or something of the sort…
@nilo and probably others : the dragon doesn't hatch as soon as you give it an elemental stone. The giving only trigers a "pre-hatching", fight, and eventually you'll get your dragon. Pokemon-style.
@newbie : Yep, the spider queen is tricky (except if you're an Umbra with 2 monsters). The first step is easy as pie, but the second (when she disappears and falls from the sky) requires more skill : stand still, when her shadow appears walk away, but not too much, and then hit her as fast as you can. But, as said before me, her hitbox is hard to find =/
Ok, this game is just… beyond greatness. The game itself is awesome, but it made even better by the constant humor and the many references (Minecraft, FF, just the last two I encountered).
In my opinion the best game there is on Kongregate. Period.
Great game ! But I can't play it anymore @_@ I disconnected once, and ever since every time I try to launch it, it says "Disconnected from server." I deleted my cache, my cookies, emptied my internet history, all in vain… I'm frustrated, now ! >_<
Goog game, the only thing I don't like is the spawning system : sometime ennemies spawn like directly under your feets with a shotgun or a sniper, and you're dead without you realizing it…
