I love that tree names are just that - real tree names, it adds a special touch.
(Moralba - Morus Alba, Baccataxus - Taxus Baccata, Acetanoides - Actenoides (it's a bird, Kingfisher), Omorica - Picea Omorika, etc.)
I couldn't figure out Quebraxus and Egunda, though. Any ideas?
Hi thunder, it is not necessary to purchase anything in the game, but it definitely takes a while to actually get to a certain point without paying. We have records of players who made it quite far without paying and they are still playing the game. With the stamina bar removed, you can always open chests now, thus giving you a much higher chance to get uncut dice. =)
I've got fed up at level 130 and completed the game using a SOL editor to give me more money. The amount of money needed was ridiculous, around 10^30 (don't remember the exact exponent) got me to level 180-200, while level 250 is required for completion.
If you only have Level 1 cities, no disasters will come, and all countdowns will be cancelled. So the best option for Endless is to have only 1 level 4 city, and cover the map with level 1 cities. When the disasters become too frequent, destroy and rebuild the level 4 city, thus resetting the timers.
SPOILER:
List of health upgrades:
Rhisla: Above the starting point, in the house. You will need a Fortify Jump potion.
Ro'gor: Second screen, after the ladder above the left platform. You'll need a Zero-G potion.
Aeryl: In the leftmost part of the left area there's a birdman saying "Faith in Aeo". Jump off the cliff to the left, and keep walking left.
Elaris: In the complex with the teleports, one of the teleports leads to a room with a patch of gas. Clear the gas with an Oxygenation Potion and walk through.
Meztla: On the top floor of the locked temple to the left. Code is on Rhisla, left to the guy talking about "faint markings". Use a Reveal potion on the rock. (or you can just brute-force the code in less than a min :) )
Potal: That's the most evil one, since there are no other secret walls in the game AFAIK. In Rani (the city after the battlefield), there's an empty house. Walk through the right wall.
Lynaii: Second screen, in the upper house, reachable with Fortify Jump.
Instant favorite :)
The first Mills counterpoint was kinda stupid though. The existence of that monster only makes the used happiness function bogus, not the whole theory.
