removing a mayor part of the luck part of the game by paying is something id honestly consider as an advantage not to mention that unless you consider this game as a grind for no content type of game the early game part where you cant farm platinum is the part where most people will probably decide whenever they stay or leave... i don't know how many hundreds or thousand of hours you have spent on reaching that level but considering the unfair scaling of difficulty every level increase the time it takes to defeat each enemy (with barely any variety between tactics since the AI is dumb) so unless you're a masochist or a fanatic of these types of redundant RTS with 0 control over your units, I'm pretty certain the grind doesn't worth it
@drseitenbach wrong... ive started 3 days ago and trying to get a phalanx since day 1.. cant even progress past lvl 6 because the enemy rushing hammerheads.. the shop only offered phalanxes for platinum thus unless you get extremely lucky (because apparently playing 10 hours a day is not enough for this game to progress) this is a literal pay wall
A heavy p2w game with a stamina element and an RNG shop just to salt the wounds of those who struggling to get a phalanx turret... the only part that i barely can believe is how is this a 2014 game when it literally has all the bs that most games today on kongregate ha.
The mage really need some defensive abilities, its so poorly balanced that its becomes just pure RNG whenever the mobs spawn in the same spot or not, not to mention with this blind firing are of effect skills its incredibly hard to tell if its even in range where you aim at.
Also when pressing a button it should show what/where it does things.. somehow i managed to run through every floor without seeing any door that was locked or to see what these buttons actually do.. i just pressed them when i walked by them
Id like to see more abilities that target every enemy or have chance to chain hit.. by the time i reached 7th floor it was just a grind and soon i upgraded all my equipment with gems a reduced my risk of dying to non.. on floor 10 i had more regeneration/round then i took damage from the enemy
I think i found a progression stopping glitch... by not collecting water/light with the flower guy and reaching the hover sign you wont have the ability to progress...
There should be a final "win" screen once the player 100% completes the game telling you that you just mortgaged your house and went complete bankrupt .
Also adding a list of next tier Assimilate rewards (or a complete list) would benefit the replay value as well since "You will get a new forest monster" is something i don't really feel would worth my time to completely reset my progress over and over.
The buttons removed obstacles that were blocking your way. Next 10 floors will have some puzzle based floors!
