3D minesweeper, slightly modified. Excellent idea, I really like this game. It's especially interesting how you SHOULDN'T remove blocks too vigorously. So far I managed to clear "medium" (largest at the point of writing) puzzles with "lots" of bombs, and based on that experience, I would say that player should delay removing bombs until all information provided by them is used (or unusable for reasons of shape and positioning). Fast-removing non-bomb blocks is fine most of the time.
Ugh. What the hell is wrong with this game? Quarter through loading and it already takes 3GB memory. By the time it finishes loading, firefox is so unresponsive that I can't actually play it.
For some reason game doesn't save progress for me. I was getting close to the end when game crashed, all progress gone. Ever refresh wipes entire progress. And, no, I can't play in one go, as it's likely to crash again.
TBH I preferred original system where slightly different parents didn't bear completely random offspring. It meant you actually were breeding them and selecting traits. Here it's pretty much pure randomfest.
Jesus. I hate RNG fests. Nothing like enemy resisting 6 equal strength melee attacks in a row, while mele one-shotting (equal strength) all 3 soldiers over 3 consecutive turns. No planning, no tactics, pure luck.
As usual for this type of game, 1/5 from me.
Why the hell some enemies shoot twice? I played just 5 or so games and 2 times I lost because enemy shot my guy who resisted, but second guy died for no freaking reason.
Thanks for your feedback! Are very few the enemies that can shot more than 1 time. They surely attacked you melee. They shot (you resisted), and then moved near to your troop and attacked melee (hit). The shot animation is slower than melee attack, so it can give the impression of a chaotic "shot, shot", but it's not the case.
Of course. Another bug. I found awesome item on a floor, I was also low on food, but I found merchant and bought food. It was going too well, so obviously last enemy on floor (I even had helm of telepathy), goblin bomber glitches out. When he dies smoke tile animates forever and it's impossible to move. When I reloaded I got thrown into previous level before I descended, and I died out of hunger. Screw this game 1/5.
Yeah. Sure. Penguins spend rest of their lives chasing teleporting turtles instead of killing turtles which fkin shoot them to pieces. Or find 2 rocks an impassable obstacle. Bloody hell, I would call this game shit, but I'm afraid fertiliser might be offended.
Grindy? Check. Idiotic AI? Check. Picking money with mouse? Check. No player control whatsoever? Check. C-c-c-c-c-c-ombo of all the WORST elements of flash games at the time this was made. How the hell does it get more than 2.5 stars?
Because of those tags I almost skipped it. But curiosity at pixel art was stronger, and I found out tags are pretty much the reverse of what should be. I like a lot that gold-summoning spell has autocast. Since I love potatoes, I have to rate high.
Protip: You can press P tu pause and unpause during repairing. You can rotate and plan placement of pieces while paused, after you are ready, all you need to do is unpause, left-click to place and pause again. I believe game doesn't even count spent fractions of a second. Abusing this bug, I managed to enclose entire island (except of some tiles at the edges, due to irregularity of pieces) without timer ever progressing past initial 30 seconds. I'm pretty sure you can do the same in combat, but I didn't need it, WSAD to move screen and 1/2/3 to switch weapons was enough.
Guys, it really is quite simple. MS3 and this one happen at the same time. While Dregg is investigating murder in the museum, Amber is selling tickets. Then, Dregg goes to the warehouse club where we meet the moustache club celebrating conclusion of their contest, conclusion brought by Amber. After talking to them, they leave for the play and ending of MS3 happens. Meanwhile, Dregg finds the diary, confront the scion Chancellor, and goes down - ending happens. Few hours pass, while Dregg and Bernard bleed in warehouse cellar, Eva off-screen beats Adam and escapes prison, goes to warehouse and beginning happens (look up "in medias res").
