Couldn't get past the first level. Every time I tried to move the blocks the characters went flying off the opposite side of the building. Then I finally got a block in place, tried to jump on it, rocketed into the sky, and landed off to the west somewhere.
This game has a good upgrades system. For a lot of games it seems like you always get all the upgrades before you win and there's no reason to keep playing, but it's nice that you don't need all the upgrades here.
Also, that boss at the end of story mode was kinda lame.
"I'm protecting the innocent because they said they lived in this mine and you attacked them first."
"But no one lives in the mine."
"That's a good point."
Apparently even the game finds the game easy.
The only real complaint I have is the levels where the spells/units come out of Nomnom's mouth. It's too random--one level you can have nothing but spells and get killed almost instantly, and another you can have nothing but units and win. It really slows down the gameplay, which apart from that is really easy.
Other than that, I can't tell if I should be offended by the shopkeeper being a bejeweled pig in a fez.
