I think the game needs a speed-up between completed paintings when you finish em in one tick. Getting back up to where you were before a prestige takes an unnecessarily long time in just waiting at fade-outs and fade-ins.
There's no tooltips in time attack mode. Upgrading brick count in time attack mode does nothing, I've never seen over 5 bricks at once on screen so far.
Is it just me or is progress super slow? I think some of the buttons that do basically nothing when you're starting out, should just be not visible until you can access the stuff in em. Would be less confusing looking for starting players.
Clicking the upgrade menu takes a suprisingly long, and unintuitive time to get into the menu and back. And well, the game doesn't seem to run on the background, which is a bit annoying. The camera focusing on the ball gives me a slight bit of vertigo.
The game is pretty short, could do a lot more with the idea, maybe expanding both levels and gameplay loop with more effective items and different enemy types.
There is no penalty for failing a wave. Each wave has exponentially more hp than the last. Adding the timer was intended to give a higher sense of progression and felt power increase than just constantly chipping away at the health of bricks, eventually succeeding. A further intent was to safe guard against needlessly large numbers expanding at a rate too fast too early for no appreciable difference. The timer can be expanded by evolving the ball speed upgrade.
The purpose of the time attack mode is to reach 100,000 points in the shortest time period.
if I had vr I would totally do that..
