Ranger with Stun Rune is one of the most OP strats to clear the game fast. Also don't bother with damage after the stat is past 100, you're looking to crit more sustainably at that point anyway before heart stone. To kill the black council focus on stunning down and killing the melee guys then use cover to shoot the ranged council members while the cover blocks their attacks (which are bigger and hence at some angles will hit the cover while you can easily shoot past it.
Game is great, but a tad easy? I did accumulate 16 of those "artist block" cards, but I figured out the mechanics and the best card to duplicte to eat the odds without dying. Perhaps up the ante?
The boss isn't difficult. You just have to prioritise skill points properly. This is a roguelike game. If you die you restart. People who can't play this shouldn't rage, it is a hard badge. Get 50 in DEX, 30 in SPD, 40 in ATK should be fine. Don't pump the rest. Then it's all down to skill. And lots of kiting. I did it on my first try under hard. Because it's not that hard.
Buy Mithril Armour, then the rest in any order. Get 2 swordsman henchmen. You are their arrow shield, they are your DPS. Get the triple kick and become the frontline stunner. Just make sure you're always flying around like Bruce Lee kicking everyone silly and the two henchmen will butcher the lot. Win.
I recommend buffing your Main Character as the Guardian/Slayer, use the high damage blade, and equip items to raise your damage. Your thief should always use trickster and thief skills and should always choose speed if given a choice for stat, and your sheriff should be a healer/elementalist. Your last character, Raz, is versatile. For me I like to use Slayer I, Elemental I, Healer and Elemental II, Healer and Slayer III, Thief and Slayer IV, Guardian and Element V. Just cleave with your main to victory, sheriff for heals and spell damage, Raz and Lina to pilfer etc.
My advice is simply: Go for 2 DPS archers such as Tiger Archers/Goat Bowmen, 2-3 Tanks like Armoured Dragons and Stone Golems, 1 Tank DPS like the Treant and Poison/Lifesteal to make up the rest e.g. Venomous Scorpion, Blade Berserker and Vampire. If you want to play it safe and have a damage soaker that is faster use ninjas. The dodge soaks up a lot of arrows. Always use the champion buff when your champion is about to die to maximise his usefulness (he is invincible when you use it) and use heals to help your tanks. Order of skill usefulness: Champion buff>Team heal=Red dps buff>Brown AOE=Yellow Storm> Kill one at random. Also NEVER get the wolf pack. It's a trap that will get your reinforcements to drop rapidly since the AI loves spiders that counter it and overall the enemy DPS will rip them to shreds anyway.
One strategy is the Stone Golem, Poisonous Scorpion and 8 Goat Bowmen Strategy. Your bowmen heals the golem tank while dealing damage and the scorpion poisons opponent tremendously. Optimally you want 2-2-6 in your team.
Guide: Always go for the Narrow Attack Formation unless the opponent is a lot more powerful (at least 1 full star ahead). This is because you can break their formation and RNG usually lets you score more than half the time. Tried this on all divisions and it works. Also, don't bother bribing and passing the ball. Just hold "W" and throw when you get the chance. Use the A and D keys to adjust the throw when necessary.
This game wasn't difficult at all. Don't see why people had difficulty, even with the lag and overpowered opponents. Hint: Destroying a tank is far better than deploying one.
Assault teams and support fire can handle tanks with ease and it is by far more efficient to deploy machine gunners en masse than snipers.
Another Protip: Points are easiest in the challenge mode as you'll only have 3 games to worry about. Green is the easiest since your time on WASD keys on Kongregate will pay off when you use your peripheral vision. I think Pink is the hardest since the more time passes the more it seems like Flappy Bird.
Pro Tip: Do not worry about the score you get at all. Once you hit your "zone" and have a rhythm, the medium badge will come to you naturally. It'll be easier when you get thegames you're better at, so be patient and wait until RNJesus looks your way. Now about that hard badge... good luck! XD
You get it, but need to use only default game resources. No extra gold or fish.
