You probably won't be banned for doing this, but it's really annoying, and the comment may be deleted.
You will, however, receive an immediate one-week ban without warning on the first offense for spamming CHAIN LETTERS, referral links, or other annoying material across game comments.
In case you are in firefight, try to hide behind your vehicles (move out, shoot, move in). It will work as cover. (It will also take some damage, but...)
