lvls 49 and 50 are just... I don't have the words for it. The previous levels at least gave you an illusion of challenge, but the last two are just a series of pixel perfect jumps. Cheers for that, it got old sometime in nintendo times.
a guide to 5k points on hardcore: go to arena, set a reasonably high multiplier, get acid bomb launcher, go in a corner and spew froth acid death. When you run out of ammo, simply whip out your backup weapon, collect some and repeat.
The AI pretty much sucks and after the first season in D1 it's pretty much pointless to play, scorelines of 6-0 are common.
Good game otherwise, good to kill an afternoon.
Keyboard wasn't meant for SF. I also think there is some button lag. Plus the block sometimes just doesn't work. Otherwise the conversion brings back memories :)
Too. Much. Walking. Please speed up walking or make it so that double click teleports. Please? Especially the part with the colors, just takes forever. Or the bees.
Oh, and there are some random freezes two. Twice on the squirrel, once or twice on random other levels.
Cave 5 is a pushover. Just get every ranged unit and dragon riders. Spells are optional.
Wait until every unit spawns, press charge and watch the carnage.
Physics is pure bull. Sometimes a perfectly stable bridge that went through 10 tests will just break down at the first sight of stress. Game still needs a grid. Some solutions that should work don't. I don't know why Kong gave badges to this, it still needs lots of work to be even properly playable.
Easily did the last lvl on wizard level 60. All it takes is some skill.
Too damn long to finish properly tho, some 700 levels if you play everything takes dedication reserved for MMORPGS :)
The game is just weak. The keys you press don't register right, sometimes you need to repeat a move two or three times before it is registered-giving the CPU enough time to serve you your arse on a platter. Fighting games are all about split second moves-you can't do this here.
