Honestly, the doom frog dealing 299999999 damage is somewhat unbalanced. This causes any armor or health advantage that the barbarian class gives becomes useless, making that class less effective. I suggest that you lower the doom frog's damage to around 600 and make it hit MUCH more often, making it a real fight, rather than simply relying on luck of it not attacking or its occasional attack being blocked.
Ok well I'm sure you're being bombarded with error reports, I think you should link a place for us to report them, and have them on a list, so that if an error has been reported, you don't have a thousand people reporting it.
Anyway it's a fun game and I can't wait to see you improve it.
Um... I recently experienced an awful bug: Keys stopped working. I have a ton of keys, and when I click them, nothing happens. I lost a level 20 chest because of it.
I loved the previous Murloc RPG, and this one is even more promising, but it has too many bugs at the moment.
For example, when I sell an item, I still see its icon without a description in my backpack, until I pick up another item to fill the slot. This can get pretty annoying after a while, when I open my backpack and see icons for items I sold half an hour ago.
Also, the game seems to accumulate lag, you may want to look through your code for memory leaks, as it seems to have vast amounts of them.
As for balance, I believe that you need to increase the difference of damage from weapons. At the moment your damage is mainly determined by your level, and only slightly influenced by your weapon.
Also, food being unusable in combat makes it useless. If you want to make food distinguishable from potions, you could make food take 1 round to eat. I do understand why you made it unusable in combat, but since this game is turn-based, there is nothing to gain by using it out of combat.
Well, I can tell you're not yet experienced at making flash games, so you'll most likely need more practice before you will be able to make anything with my ideas, but I'll try to throw a few ideas your way.
Possibly a game in which you are zombies defending against human attacks (Yes, in that order), building zombie towers, walls, and training zombie hordes to defend yourself, as well as buying different types of zombies. I'll be willing to draw for you, if you make the game.
Well... The main issue is the overall idea of the game. It's simple and not very original. Maybe you'll make something better in the future; we'll just wait and see. As for this, it's not something to "improve". If you want to make something better than this, you'll need to make an entirely new game. Good luck to you in the future.
I've never made a flash game, so I'm not here to insult you; I'm just here to tell you my honest opinion.
I apprechiate opinions like that because otherwise i dont know what to make different. If you have an idea for a new game just tell me and i will do my best to make that game.
And i never took anything as an insult.
This was too much of a copy of plenty of games made before it, and it was not very original. It was fun for almost a minute. Zombies are supposed to attack people, not stand in place, yes?
Not trying to double-post, but just for your information it took 36 seconds to score all 9 points, meaning 4 seconds per score, because of this issue in your AI.
Interesting classic pong, but there is one major issue. You need to add some randomization to the AI, otherwise it will always miss certain situations. If I positon my paddle in a certain place in the start, I can leave my paddle there and it will bounce the ball a way that the AI misses, over and over again, as the new ball spawns, hitting my paddle and bouncing to the AI's blind spot. I was able to score 9 points in less than a minute and win the game with this method. Adding chance (having the AI choose between different movements and speeds with every motion), this would not happen.
It's a funny joke, but don't waste our time by uploading things like this to kongregate. If everyone did this, we'd have trouble filtering through to find real games.
It's great that you're learning, but you should not upload your first attempt at a flash game, especially after not even spending any time or effort on it. It makes you look bad, and it annoys people here. I suggest that you put much more time, effort, and skill into your next game and wait for it to reach its fullest potential before uploading it. I'll be happy to help you with texturing.
This is a great game, but even with the major expansion, it's too short...
Also, I know the Hand is an end-game weapon, but it's still a bit too OP, makes any playing after achieving it pointless. Instead of dealing over 300 base damage, I suggest that its damage be lowered to 10-16, which would still be incredibly powerful.
Plus, I'd love to see a lot more added to the game.
I apprechiate opinions like that because otherwise i dont know what to make different. If you have an idea for a new game just tell me and i will do my best to make that game. And i never took anything as an insult.
