The jump upgrades are counter-beneficial, as I am finding myself more and more damned by my ability to jump so high- not getting back to the ground quick enough to do later jumps fast enough in succession, or maybe those obstacles become too clustered together to avoid?
meh..
Not played through yet, but I already love how stats work and the intro.
Anna is a much-needed new character, I think you hit the spot with her.
Really, I'm just so thankful you made this game, I was hoping you'd continue the saga since I finished Ebf3, which was absolutely stunning.
As always, excellent audio and visual effects.
I am being very optimistic, but that's how confident I am that this game won't disappoint me by the time I am through with it.
Mega-thanks!!!
PS: I love you Phyrra.
The character design reminds me of Chrono Trigger, the dialogue is witty and fun.
The gameplay is easy to grasp and the victories do not feel bland at all, they feel well-earned.
Awesome upgrade system.
Decent sounds/music.
its pretty easy until you get swarmed by those huge guys that throw rocks and minotaurs who can bash the temple down in 2-3 hits.
I maxed out the powers, the spear and all of Achilles' stats and none of that helped.
Also what's up with the 'phoenix' improvement of the powers?
After getting it I was waiting for that after each spear throw, but it never happened, all it did was put down some very short-lived fires which didn't even tickle minotaurs.
I guess you should focus first on fixing super powers if you wish to improve this game
This is my support.
Lol...I blame "Siege Ballista" for every victory...and I get a lot of those.
Get three Siege Ballistas and it's a done deal...nerf them please lol it is too easy.
the dialogue is so random it is completely smashing and hilarious.
This game's style reminds me of aerofighters but its art reminds me of Pocky&Rocky.
All in all, this is a complete blast to play- the difficulty and replay value are perfect.
I think the troll is bugged.
If I keep him fed with one footman, all he will do is sit where he was when the game began and take all sorts of ranged punishment,
whereas if I DONT feed him, he will actively go after the enemies shooting him.
This really seems like a bug of some kind, hope you can fix it.
I was stuck and forced to look up a walkthrough all because you didn't even put that "E" is used to pick up objects.
Not sure if you left that out of the instructions just to troll ppl, or if it's an honest mistake.
Either way, please fix this and PUT IT IN THE GAME k?
Something like "USE E TO INTERACT WITH OBJECTS".
Thx.
By making this sad excuse for a game, you have insulted not only every movie ever made that was based on the theory of time travel, but also every person who was curious and/or bored enough to play this game, congratulations.
What a lame game, nobody with equal cards ever fights fair with you or bothers helping you raise your own ranks and the computer is programmed to mind fubard and read all your moves.
The characters are all cliche rip-offs of several themes obviously grabbed and slapped together from all kinds of games and movies that have come out before, come on, even the types of units listed is cliche ; pirates, vampires, robots...
Anyway, waste of time, also, card games are meant to be physically tangible, whoever came up with this has no concept of card games, period.
This game is AWESOME, I simply don't have enough space in this textbox to describe how detailed and complicated it is.
Its a drawing that turns into life, simply amazing!
Nice game, it has many likable aspects: Variety of classes, several upgrades, loads of interesting bosses and bad guys, tons of quests and great variety of hats.
Speaking of the hats, they are a nice touch, but the stats they give and the amount included seems a bit like an afterthought rather than a major game-play idea, because some of the hats give similar stat increases and for late-game content or hardcore multiplayer armies, they're pretty much an esthetic boost for slayers and nothing more.
Only thing I would wish on this game is even more hats, with greater stat-boosting effects.
The multiplayer feature gives it an incredible replay value.
Pro-Tip: For those of your who are having a hard time, try this for an army that'll last; 2 longbow archers, 2 sorcerers and one flame mage, upgrade the sorcerers to a crazy level and nothing will touch your archers. Clean-cut effectiveness.
Its awesome to see so many classes, but if I was a less patient person, I would have left a very abrupt comment about the lack of instructions/orientation, however I cannot deny that you've put work into it, it looks nice and there's lots of characters, hope your other games are as inventive.
First tip; if you haven't already worked it out, the BEST items to stack onto your character right away are the Veteran Badges.
For those out there who like to use Gelyan; Raise your beast into a Phoenix, upgrading only Gelyan's endurance and empathy with every level up, favoring either until they're maxed out, then grab two Gaia Vests.
Okay, so this means Gelyan is just there to essentially poison things whilst phoenix does high spread of damage, meaning you don't have to aim much and since you're equipped with TWO gaia vests, the chance to cast grand cosmos is increased, also, since you've maxed endurance, getting hit should not be a great drama, especially if you let it happen consecutively after Gelyan's battle harness comes into effect, Phoenix's spirit eggs will keep you alive AND slay whatever's there simultaneously.
May not be the highest damaging build, but its great to hack away at nightmare difficulty with.
Um, honestly? I keep playing it even though I've finished all the missions because it feels like there's an easter egg I have missed, or perhaps it is simply the fact that it feels like too little to whet my appetite for planetary destruction, also, feel a little let down that all my hard work during each mission gets completely obliterated when I have to finish, because every single mission I've had to sit there and grind my guardians to make them strong again and again.
The finishing touch from my POV as a player would be to have some kind of after-game bonus, there's loads of avenues because of the originality and imagination that's been put into this, so I won't say set a bar that might be too far-fetched for you to reach.
REALLY hoping to see a sequel at least.
Great, so they combo at MAXED out damage levels. So when exactly is someone supposed to see the combos in order to have any fun with them, WITHOUT looking them up through google or something? Sit there for three hours in order to work out that the rockets ONLY combo with a laser in such specific range...and that a black hole can be created using three tazers+... too much f@#$ing trouble for a td game.
Cut the costs of the upgrades, then it might be fun.
Biggest waste of time.
the extra jumps make up for the reduced accuracy. it really opens up your options.
