This was fun! It would have been neat to have the puzzles continue getting harder (maybe at a slower pace) after level 20, though. It was still quite easy for me then, so the game started to get a bit stale. Nice holiday-themed game!
I'm checking out this game because of the cross-game promotion today, but the interface leaves quite a bit to be desired. Explanation text is going out of the boxes provided, and images overlap text in other areas. It may be a fine game, but the interface leaves me disinclined to check it out for long.
This is okay, but the movements aren't very responsive, so I can't flip crystal underneath things at the bottom, or reliably slide them between existing crystals that have a single space between them -- even when hammering the arrow key. That limits my game play.
Okay, this game is perfect for someone like me. I enjoy puzzles to a degree, but most games like this get WAY beyond my patience in terms of difficulty. So, "unfinished" for the creator means "finished at the perfect point" for me. I found this challenging, fascinating, and finishable -- probably the only 5/5 I will ever give in this category! :)
Graphics and concept are great. I find vertical scrollers like this intensely frustrating, though. My own lack of coordination kills me more than anything else!
@magekirbys: You can either complain it was too easy (succeeding with just a maxed mage) OR that you can't max everyone's skills (which would make it easier). Personally, I think it's a ton of fun however you slice it, but I wouldn't complain if the difficulty was notched up a tad.
@vikings24: Those papers are gathered when you tear up a card in browser view. If you've got too many of a card, or cards you don't like, you can tear them up and collect the papers to get a new card.
Thanks for the answers about fame! I was thinking the titles were related to level in some way, so this clarifies another aspect of the game at the same time!
This game looks neat, but I need to zoom in too far for the entire screen to fit in my browser properly. My resolution is 1028x768, so when it's zoomed in that far, it goes past the edges of my browser. If you could have the page scale to my browser, that would be great!
