MARDEK RPG: Chapter 1	Dec. 11, 2007 Rating: 1 I am now additionally confused. Apparently, Deugan's dad is actually a Fire element. Fire and Earth are neither dominant nor submissive towards each other. Nor are they the same element and lacks that added compatibility. Yet, they are coupled and their son is of Earth element. This makes me wonder if about the actual prominence of elements in this fantasy world. Perhaps the supposed association of elements with personalities and compatibilities are merely myths fueled by intrigue and coincidences much like the Zodiac signs of our world (although my girlfriend and I do have compatible Zodiac signs...) ?
