Controls are very responsive which is great for a game with so much jumping. It is also nice being able choose what keys to map the controls too. Finding all the coins and keys is an appropriate level of challenge. It is not too easy and requires some effort, but it doesn't require mindless running around bumping into walls looking for hidden passages like some games. Well at least not on the stages I have played so far. Overall a great game. 5/5
This game is ok, but I don't see how it got such a high rating. The upgrade system is pretty mundane and the stage where you just have to click on towers like crazy to unfreeze them just doesn't fit in with the rest of the game.
This really brings back memories of some of the old abstract graphic adventure games like Myst and Lighthouse. Fun stuff. I wish those would make a comeback.
Defeating the final boss unlocks invincible mode. If you haven't gotten the four mini boss tanks for the BF Badge you can still do it while invincible. If you can't find one just keep heading in one direction and only stop to kill what looks like a potential candidate (ie. large or menacing looking tanks). There isn't a unique location for them so you may find several of one type before finally getting them all.
Great game. The original Protector was what first caused me to discover Kongregate and this is by far my favorite of the series. I had high expectations and this game exceeds them.
In cave 5 how does the stupid one shot goblin keep just appearing behind all my forces and killing my castle? One minute I am keeping at bay the the next he just magically appears there. Pretty lame.
Do different heroes have different mana caps at lvl 30? It seems like I could equip more cards on an earlier play through, but I am not sure. Rembrant has a max of 2600 is all I can say for sure.
That finishing move is very faithfully recreated for each wrestler.
