tutorial. Have to have a tutorial for a game this complex. Saying go to Youtube isn't enough. This coul be an excellent game, but I think Flash player window is too small. It's very hard to see what is going on in this small frame.
and -this- is why I don't think these stupid FB games should be on here. "Game is closing". Flash games don't close. Nor should you need gold or credits, or friends accounts to play. Worthless games, the lot of them.
I made level three first try, then it was 'game over' for no reason. Cruddy game that should not have a badge. Kong, please take this badge away. Don't force people to play this POS.
Yeah, the computer must get money as well, as I'm losing even faster as the fights pile up. After 12 losses on normal map 9, I can't even dent the red or yellow forces.
I can get to wave 45 just setting up the maze. Problem is, I can't keep up with the increasing toughness of the creeps with the low towers, and don't have the money to upgrade fast enough. 1/5 for falling into the same trap most other TDs do.
far too easy to get screwed over by something you didn't know about, like blue creatures being able to pass by your lights. What's the point of the lights if things can walk right by them? I lost most of my connectorsand trying to kill that crerature cost me my ability to reconnect to my -ONLY- metal source. game over. Actually I call it cruddy game design. Work on improving this and I'll reconsider my rating.
after a while the game stops accepting my commands and instead automatically heals despite my not needing or wanting it. Also, it decided that I couldn't change ammo types anymore.
Going to go and rate this high for a well polished TD with an interesting play model. The upgrade wheel is interesting, though perhaps different styles of weapons might be in order instead of using the same old tired sniper/poison/range and daage boosters. Lag is a problem at higher levels, but i'm not sure there's much the devs can do about your processing speed.
while a very good, well polished game, balance at later levels is pretty much nonexistant. I'm good at TDs, I play them a lot. I have yet to finish -any- of the maps to a respectable degree. Zombes gain strength faster than your ablity to damage them.. ok, it's supposed to be an eventually losing battle, I get that. But it shouldn't be so noticable so soon. Having 'Abominations' show up so early that all you can possibly do is watch them walk past? Huliing brutes that shrug off everything? Losing lives should be a gradual thing, but more based on not developing towers properly, bad setup or pgrading choices. Not arbitrarily because the game forces you to lose life at set intervals.
the ice tower version is horribly broken. Ice towers do so little damage it's impossible to actually stop everything. Slowed down is good, but zombies traditionally walk slow, so it doesn't really help if you can't DO DAMAGE!
Thanks for taking the time to try ZS and leave us a comment. ZS is a free to play game and does not require tons of friends, in fact doesn't require any friends. Your squad holds max 20 people and unlocks with level, plus you can add people through squad codes so no need to be your friend. And why flash games, what did a non-flash web browser game ever do to you?
got down to 15 morale on Impossible, all my people rioted and killed each other instead of actually doing what i told them to do, which would have improved morale. Stupid people.
could be a great game if it wasn't so damn difficult. It is incredibly annoying to sit by and watch a ton of cars wander past your warehouses and since you can't finish any, you can't get money, so you can't build anything more to save yourself. This is, of course, after spending everything available to try and manage the level.
any of my 'troops' that get close to the hero vanish even if it's shooting the other way. This is a time waster, but not an achievable goal oriented game. 1/5
