drawing rune is an interesting idea, if only the rest of the game was as good. Graphics are ok, but tower placement is clunky. Upgrades would be nice, or some sort of improvement scheme between levels. As is, it's just more of the same over and over.
1/5 for a few reasons. First of all, while unlike many TD games, there's actually a lot of money to be had. Sadly, the towers are simply too underpowered. Everyone's ranting and raving about fire towers being too strong. Map 4 I had veritable rivers of fire all over the roads, and the greek helmet balls and the giant eggs walked right past it all, every time.
Next, simple math people. 5 life - 1 enemy = 4 life. Many times I've had one enemy make it past me to see my life drop my 2, 3, even 4 points a few times.
lastly, the variety just isn't here. We TD players have gotten a bit jaded and pretty graphics aren't quite enough. We need options, the more the better. 4 tower types, only a few upgrades each, and no choices make this a relatively boring game.
Oh yes, and with as slow as your giant eggs walk, a speed up option would help. See? Options.
Mission 8 I discovered another problem as well. It states each additional castle gives you access to new units. Castle 2 gives you Dwarves. Unfortunately, castles 3, 4, and 5 also give you the same dwarves.
Was this game even finished before you posted it?
The main reason I give this game 1/5 is because I can't give it 0/5. The AI is horribly broken, Mission 8 is wholly unwinnable, the game in general lacks any sort of balance or tactical control. It's a bad, bad game.
Seems the only way you can save any sort of progress is by joining the ninjakiwi site, which begs the question, why bother uploading here if you're going to deny us even the most basic of features?
Absolutely no idea how to get better weapons or recruits. I don't seem to be able to get any money no matter how many I kill. Maybe some sort of tutorial might be in order?

I know game makers rely on donations and such to be able to make games, but I do get tired of seeing 3/4 of the game inaccessible to me cause of 'premium' content.
quickly gets stupidly hard. Well crafted, but frustrating fast. Almost like i have to redesign my entire family after every battle just to have a chance.
