looo7 use healing for you hero and you need some strong units backed up by weaker units such as dwarves,goblins or hobits. My favourite weak unit is dwarf though.
JDCondor get celestile angel and sky dragon with valkyrie and mighty guardian and some other units of your choice. Though i did it with Viegraff,cassandra and kara as commanders. Retreat the commanders back to the furthest point possible. Celestile Angel and sky dragon. On normal and epic. Valkrie and mighty guardian and Were tiger. Like i said the last unit is your choice. But i would say sharpshooter or ice giant.
