Very frustrating game which is a shame because it's very promising. Not being able to grind previous missions is a flaw and it's not clear what is happening in a game the first few times you play it. And the "tutorial" is brief. Come on, please improve this and release again, it could be a real winner. 3/5
Great game but what do the tower effects Blaze and Radiance etc. mean? There's nothing about it in the instructions! I almost stopped playing once I'd done all 15 levels and progress was slow getting Brilliant on all of them but I'm nearly there and have enjoyed it immensely.
Even better than chapter 1. I love the combos that let you get up to 4 hits per turn. I ended up focusing a lot of upgrade points on the wizard and the ranger to get that range up. Enjoyable - onto chapter 3!
Good while it lasted: very nice, dumbed-down Final Emblem style turn-based play, suited for a couple of hours play but then it ends. Yes there's a chapter 2 but characters are lost. Left feeling a little cheated.
Not for me. I prefer elegant TDs where you have some semblance of control over what's happening. This is a just a psychedelic nightmare I have no desire to play again. Just my opinion.
Fantastic version of tower defence. Despite what the walkthrough says, farming is necessary but quite quick and fun anyway. The upgrades versus the increase in damage and difficulty are all nicely balanced. 5 stars.
