Also finally got the hard badge. With me it was the Kill It With Crossbow that was such a pain. It would be a lot more fun if the badge was changed to 48 achievements completed so we could all skip the last one. Other than that, a nice way to kill time.

This game urgently needs a fairer way of picking opponents. I keep facing opponents with multiple advanced mechs who must have been playing from day one, or brand new players with 1 starter mech. I have yet to face a single enemy in between... which I guess means that everyone who [i]didn't[/i] start on day one got sick of facing impossible opponents half the time and quit.

Great game... except for one part. When it came to the guiding the bug puzzle I couldn't figure out how to make it DO anything. I wound up clicking the maze all over... except on those darn keys. Even more frustrating, when I resort to the walkthrough I discover you've embedded it, instead of just providing a link. This meant I couldn't skip to the end and had to sit through the whole walkthrough. I still rated 5/5, everything else was great.

I like Tjommi's ideas for more random events. What would make it even better would be if they offered multiple responses, with your choice influencing the next event you get. For an example, look at the old Castles II: Siege and Conquest. That game's over 2 decades old and it's STILL being sold, and I'm pretty sure its random events are a big part of why.

Thank you sooooo much Ceidot for deciding to fix the way this game is so unbalanced in favor of the attacker... but only after giving the bullies a months warning so they could go on a rampage first. I'm gone. I might try starting over with a new character after update, but I'll probably have found a new game by then.

There is apparently a penalty for attacking smaller empires (haven't attacked any weak people, so I'm not sure what it is) but "smaller" is measured in planets, not army size. If you don't want to be attacked the best strategy is to load up on Supply Planets until your army maintenance uses up most of your credits each turn. You can get more planets by attacking pirates of other players. If you keep a small army and expand by buying planets people will spot you by your low Net Worth to planets ratio and help themselves to some of those planets you bought.

The new defense structures are either crazy tough... or badly bugged. It said the level 1 defenses could hold off tens of thousands... so I brought 114 thousand, including 5 thousand ballistas. From the enemy health bar it looked like I was about to destroy a structure... only instead it would refill to to the max. They didn't just repair between rounds, it would actually happen during the same round!

Hello Toralk, we have investigated that and found that there was no bug or glitch there. However we have also found out what might confused you. You see, when you switch between battalions, their HP sphere also changes, and new HP sphere updates itself with the new battalion's HP. During that switching animation, red liquid fills itself or lowers itself depending on the HP value of that new battalion. If that new battalion has more HP than the previous one, red liquid fills itself not instantly but with a tween animation, and if especially you are playing in fast mode (accelerated the battle by increasing battle animation speed) it often becomes a confusing feedback. We will be fixing that. Other than this visual confusion, rest assured castle structures are not healing themselves during the active battle.

For those, like me, who want to find the best storyline ending it's nice that you let us set up multiple commanders. Though, I haven't found an option to change commanders, so I have to refresh each time I want to start another commander building something. Also, no back button when I accidentally hit New Commander, so I have to refresh for that too. Also, it would be even better if we could reset the storyline quests if we find ourselves going down a path we don't like. That way we could save the time we spent on buildings. You could have a penalty to commander rating and/or level to keep people from repeating the story quests for the rewards. I don't want to complain so much, I think this is the best story component of any MMOG I've played. I just want to explore it fully.

Hello Toralk. May I suggest you to open two browser tabs and use them to play with your commanders at the same time? It might be an alternative solution, but depending on your hardware, it might slow your computer down a bit. I will inform our devs about the back issue on new commander creation screen. Thanks for that. Resetting storyline quests might be an impossible task, however, since it will affect many things and probably it will raise huge complications on the technical side.

Consolidating all these stacks of troop rewards and new recruits is annoying; especially when doing guild quests for the troops. It would be nice if we could designate primary stacks, which all new troops of that type would be added to.

Hello Toralk, and thank you for your suggestion. Guild quests will be completely re-designed soon, and you will be getting your guild quests from settlements of guilds (in the region map), therefore the main reason behind this request will be affected significantly after this change. Still, we will let our designers know about this useful advice.

Artwork is good. Music is good. Dialog is funny. Unfortunately there are just so many tower defense games on Kong I've gotten sick of them. I can't bare to finish this even though I really want to read the rest of the story.

I found this game to be 5% fun, 20% boring, 75% pure frustration. Kong, PLEASE stop giving badge of the day to these work in progress games just because they're clever in concept.
