So we take a generic platformer, give it generic, crappy even, graphics and call it "Retro." Amazing. Your retro could use a little retro, but hey. Whatever floats your boat.
It's a neat concept, but lousy execution. Thoroughly boring with no real challenge besides the awful placement of platforms. It definitely has promise, but it could have been done much better.
Around the time RS2 came out the game hasn't been worth the light of day. Every so often I get an urge to play because the crafting system used to be pretty cool. Then I remember how overly sterile they made it. If I actually get to the point of looking at it I find out how many more of the features that made it good have been removed. Closing the wilderness was the last kick in the balls for me. I haven't bothered to look at it since.
As much as I like Aardman, this one pisses me off. They used to have a bit of originality way back when. Switching out some graphics of something else and calling it theirs just doesn't seem like the Aardman way.
Oh grand. People putting stuff as blatant as the password in the comments. Why don't you just give out the whole friggin' storyline? Oh wait, someone already did.
