I don't see why people are confused about the gold requirements. You need 2 remaining of each item that you began the level with. Having 3 of something and 1 of something else is not the same thing. The game spells this out clearly.
High score is calculated by wins and looses of duels.
for easy diffiulty: you get 150 for winning, and loose 75 for loosing.
For max difficulty : the figure becomes 600 of wining. I will put the exact details some where in help book.
Still Imbalanced. Melee is not as good as ranged; most of the skill tree is pointless compared to damage boosts; many skills (like Charm and Wisdom) are a waste. Save games from Protector 4 don't work with this version. Not enough has changed to justify the 4.5 title. Should just be an update of the existing game. I disappointingly give this a 1/5.
Another thing to point out is that skilled players can beat the AI on very hard nearly every time, regardless of scenario or hand their dealt. So it's not exactly a game of luck like many new players are claiming.
Those who think you need a customizable deck or card choice don't understand the concept behind the game. If you could simply choose an ideal combo and have that every time the game wouldn't be so deep, varied, or fun. This game takes a lot of skill because of how it's designed.
