I don't understand why the path of flame boss has the light orbs spawn directly in front of him. It's neat that you battle for them, but because he gets the upper hand in what should be a random race it's just dumb.
57 is totally the hardest. 58 and 59 were so fun. The entire thing is so fun. i would play this forever. I can see why people ragequit, but it's so fun. 6/5 for the zoom in slowmo at the end. I literally think half my deaths were the last three levels alone. I also really love the difficulty curve in the game.
I know this has probably been said by somebody, but it's really funny to watch the mages shoot at the golems and dealing no damage while letting ghosts past. No problem though, my hero will destroy them!
It would be nice to have something to do after beating the game. Like, a survival mode or something where the enemies just keep coming until you die. Dunno, just a thought. Really fun game though.
So, after the first mission I said 5/5 and voted that way. I kept it until I saw the infectors could take your main base. I was fine with them taking my huge beam crown thing, but the main base? That's just dumb. 4/5 for an instant lose design. Super fun though. Maybe make the upgrade also make your main base immune?
Did you know you can turn on Steady Cam (click on camera icon or 'C' to toggle on/off) and can Zoom Out with Wheel Mouse or +/-, with Steady Cam on zoom position will stay for the race. Does that help?
Two things. 1. I don't understand why accidentally running into enemies lowers my health as quickly as it does, especially on the final boss. And 2. The final boss: is there some sort of strategy to that thing or do I just fly in circles hoping that my mass of missiles kills him before his mass of missiles kills me? 5/5 because most of the game is fantastic and because the game is just so much fun to play.
I don't normally give bad reviews, so I’m gonna try to keep this short. First: I’m not trying to be mean, I just call them as I see them. Second: The ranges are terrible for the weapons. And even the best bow, while almost reaching the edge of the screen, doesn’t allow you to hit zombies because they are ‘too close’. Third: The only real strategy seems to be hiding behind the gate waiting for your stun to grow so that you can axe them a few times before hiding and waiting again. Fourth: not only are zombies that hurt you as they spawn from under you bad, but so are zombies that can juggle you. That’s just bad game design there. All in all just a boring game. Even the king is so bored that he has the same lifeless expression as the zombies. Anyway, don’t take this too harshly, I managed to play all the way through the game despite these things, thought I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t get too discouraged and keep making games!
I agree with shadowbot and Beerblog: if you don't kill all the enemies in one shot you might as well restart then and not waste your time watching your enemy kill you. Fun game, horrible gameplay design.
Uhm, perfect game. Better than perfect. At first I was like, neat, this is a good bullet hell game. Then I was like, cool upgrades. Then I was all, hey, these things I can pick up (because I was playing homing) are pretty sweet. Then I decided to upgrade the other weapons and I realized it was weapon based. Now I switch back and forth, using all of their powers at once. BEST ONLINE GAME EVER, hands down.
I can across some issues while trying to edit my deck. Some cards weren't allowed to be put in the deck, but others worked fine. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Otherwise really fun game. Very enjoyable.
Pretty cool. I can't find the generator, but I guess that's because I'm dumb or something. I managed to walk onto that tent between Soota and Watim and then I could walk wherever I want on the water but eventually one of the islands dragged me back in. Glitch perhaps? I get the feeling that the generator has something to do with that but I don't know what.
