Is this game incompatible with FF? It's lagging massively for something so simple, and appears to be memory leaking as well. 400 mb of RAM and counting, and it's only been running a few minutes.
Another way to get a 1000 chain is to simply be high level. The full size vessels release enough piles of tiny one-shottable enemies. Combine this with the fact that a shield-breaking hit doesn't break your chain, and you don't have to do anything *too* ridiculous to pull off a 1000 chain.
I don't mind financially supporting a good game *IF* it asks for a sane amount of money. $10 for a 5 pack of virtual cards is very much not a sane amount of money. $10 for a 5 pack of cards in a game that ALSO wants to you buy energy to actually play it more than occasionally? I think we need a reality check in aisle 5. Real cards cost a tiny fraction of what you're charging, can be sold if I get sick of the game, and don't magically stop working if I decide to play several games with someone.
I love this game, and already purchased it when it was on NG. It would be nice if there were some way to punch in my order number (or generate some kind of key with my full copy) and have the Kong version become the full version, so I could Kong chat and play this at the same time. Also, so I could be lazy and get the badges with my save file from the full game. :P
I'm not opposed to cash items in a game, especially a multiplayer game with a server bill... but $25 items in a Flash game? Yeah... not touching that one.
Fun game, but the multiplayer NEEDS a kick button. If someone leaves but doesn't quit the room, you have no choice but to abandon it.
I got a 160 in the campaign and yeah... not spamming my FB friends just to submit a high score.
It's a fun, nicely designed game, with some nice silly humor.
One complaint on challenges: The "dodge 5 in a row" challenge is impossible if you have the plastic shield, as there's no way you're dodging 5 bullets before the shield fires (and the game prioritizes the shield over the evade). My suggested fix is simple: have N disable that in addition to the stuff it already turns off. It's a small glitch normally, but since the Kong badge requires beating ALL of the challenges, I had to completely start the game over because of it.
It's a very fun game, but FML mode has 2 major glitches.
1. Some spikes spawn offscreen, making it absolutely impossible to know where to aim.
2. Certain random blocks are solid, further complicating this.
These 2 glitches change what's supposed to be a very hard level into a nearly impossible one.
If you're going to use a protection scheme, you should probably use one that doesn't freeze the game with a black screen that says "protected by Secure SWF" in red letters.
This gets a vote of 1 in the hopes that its slot will be claimed by a game we can actually play.
I'm not opposed to premium content, but the prices seem rather high.
They expect an $8/month subscription, plus a cash shop (brass). That's similar to what the main MMO I play (RO) charges, except that's an actual MMO, not a Flash game with limited coop... and RO's cash shop is cheaper!
This is a very fun game. I like how it can be played as both a casual "upgrade at your leisure, beat it eventually" game, or a hardcore "every second counts, beat it ASAP" game. It took me several tries, but I managed to beat the game on day 1, at 11:46 PM. :)
It was good until level 12. The solution to 12 is obvious, but even on max volume, it was too soft to hear over my laptop's fan. This makes the game impossible to finish unless you have a good speaker system.
Very fun game, and quite well balanced too.
One big complaint though - the game should only disable achievements when you actually USE a cheat, not merely open the cheat menu because you leaned on the shift key on a laptop.
