The game needs to deal with the damage dealing issues, whenI've spec'd for damage and I'm still doing only 1 damage, there's a problem there. Also siege units need a movement boost, I put the movement skill on my catapault and it's still moving only one square. Also, I'd like the option to replay old missions to gain experience and gold before taking on harder missions, that's something missing here in a huge way.
This game is terrible. Boring, repetitive, unrewarding, an all-around failed effort. How this made game of the year is entirely beyond me, there's nothing even remotely enjoyable about it.
So. . . save states. Would be cool if I didn't have to play through levels 1-40 wasting time when it's 50+ that actually poses a challenge. Otherwise, brilliant stuff.
So. What are the tracks called? I can guess what the 'world' track is, but I don't see a map there which looks like a power pool. If you're going to give the maps names, displaying them would be good, ya know?
This is an awesome game, I love the way the supply chains are worked in and I have to balance expansion and logistics.
More games like this are needed, definitely.
Would really appreciate the ability to tell the missiles to target the carriers before the fighters. Getting massacred because my gun crews have no concept of priority.
Oh man, I adore this game! The story's brilliant, the gameplay is challenging without being repetitive, and it looks great. I especially love all those little high-altitude easter eggs. I found three, the one about the game's being a competition entry, one about the engine used, and one about how the player is a pterodactylgreyhoud thing. I'll have to see if I can find any more when I go back to see the bad ending.
If I was going to spend an entire day on the same game, I wouldn't be playing something as one-note as this. Drop a decimal point from the prices and it would make things a lot more bearable.
A healthy part of this balanced breakfast.
