@Homer545: you can't question taste and opinion. Secondly I'm not a great fan of the game either. Is it really fun to play? Maybe, didn't notice too much.
On first play it's very challenging and can keep you busy for an hour or more. Without much detours you can finish it in 20 minutes. I like these types of puzzle games. I wonder if the designer took the photographs himself. Pretty remarkable scenery, a flamengo brooding in a bromelia or pineapple greenhouse. Original!
If you claim your game to be WW2 themed, you might want to put stuff in that has something to do with WW2 and remove things that don't have anything to do with it. Helicopters (there were tests but they practically didn't see any battlefield action), rocket launchers, suicide bombers?? Otherwise looks good, gameplay is not entirely bad.
I thought there was an understanding not to give badges to games that give you a walkthrough. You can watch one of the possible solution of every maze on his site. Agreed, maybe not the ideal solutions but still.
Besides that, I like it a lot! Waiting on a sequel and hopefully that one will be eligible for badges.
Very demanding game. Makes you obviously do something your brain isn't adapted to. Men and multitasking... a next step in our evolution will hopefully solve this little flaw.
attack-heal-attack-heal-attack-heal, restrictions on upgrade points in normal mode are annoying, I don't feel the new features enrich the game. Disappointing
Remembering the Alamo Badge (hard – 30 points) Best so far: 24. I've tried the tactics some other people on here mentioned: getting a flamethrower early on and it pays of untill about level 24. After the first day bought an uzi and didn't upgrade it a lot the days thereafter in order to save for a flamer joe. I ended up with 2 fully maxed flamer joes, a nearly maxed laser tower, several wall upgrades, 35 gunmen, 15 repairmen and maxed machine gun. Not enough I guess. If the badge is not very nearly impossible, it's very actually impossible.
Difficulty slope is kind of steep. On easy in campaign mode, one bullet kills with desert eagle. I've been able to play to day 5 without spending any money. On normal difficulty enemies take 2 bullets, you get less money, etc etc. I dread to wonder what hard and why god have in store.
Porkchhop sandwiches written on the side of the fuel trucks, nice touch :) After x days of besiegement they have to be hungry.
The game starts off slow, becomes challenging mid-game and is a no-brainer at the end. Once you get enough repairmen/gunsmen and a combination of towers there's nothing to it. It would be nice if you could keep the player interested. Allround, pretty ok.
glitch in ch. 2 lvl. 7 (Twin towers) If you immediately press richt; you can walk right through the fire instead of having to go around.
Amusing little game
Deleting the account and creating a new one doesn't solve anything if you're troubled by the 'level 9 glitch'. Too bad so many people are bothered by it and nothing has been done to solve this issue. The army style leveling up gives it an edge but if it doesn't work there isn't much to it.
