Ok...now playing the game for a while longer, the music isn't as cool only because it's so repetitive and annoying in large doses....had to turn it off....but will listen again in the future....
Wow - I LOVED the first one. I am not feeling this one - the display makes playing much more annoying and requires lots of darting my eyes around. Even if the cards don't have full info (we can get used to it over time once you familiarize), at least go back to the old meter system with colours and more visual instead of numbers. Still a good concept - first one got 4/5 (almost 5) - this one gets 3...!
This truly is the most satisfying game I've every played on Kongregate....normally in tower defence games there is an imbalance so you end up grinding and it's boring, but here the flow of building experience and skills and range of upgrades is well-planned. It's challenging without being stupidly frustrating. WELL DONE!! I'm addicted...so far 10/15 brilliant and going strong.
Fun game, wayyyyy to easy....unbalanced items/stats....fix that to adjust difficulty and this will really be a great game. 3/5 with easy potential for 4
WTF is wrong w/ controls? It keeps doing all kinds of crazy things by itself...I just spent 2 mins going in and out of the same door on the menu and I wasn't touching a thing..
I don't know why everyone likes this game so much....I don't find it fun....just really annoying....the battle scenes, the buying/selling....all the little operations and controls to do basic things are so frustrating that they ruin the game.....
Play control has some small issues, but a pretty good game overall...I especially love when words have a K instead of a C - that alone gives the game huge points!
Interesting concept...very linear play (not much puzzle/guesswork) except finding the sprites was a sort of minor challenge. I like the concept and the feel of the play, looking forward to other chapters...PS - Anabel should do more than kiss you when the lights go out ;) HAHAHAHAH.....
