Honestly the first one can also be looked at as pure logic rather than even worrying about the equation. You're supposed to get 5 single digit answers from the 5 questions. Whats the one number that will give you single digit integer answers both when multiplied by .8 and when more than doubled?
Only real issue is it has a quick cheat. You only really need to add or subtract the last two numbers since no two answers have an identical last digit. Greatly speeds up the answers once you notice that.

So ignoring the fact that its just generally dull, I also made it to the boss simply by holding down the spacebar and hitting the space bar repeatedly, no skill involved in playing this game.
