Zero depth, and incredibly easy, but comfy nonetheless. My biggest complaint is that wasn't able to stick it harder to those woody [redacted] that wanted to slow my growth.
For its art style and concept this could be an amazing game, one of my Kongregate favourites. Only it frequently lags out and ignores all controller input for 10-20 seconds or so which renders it unplayable.
1. I thought the aiming being off was intentional game design. Fighting armies off with shoes is supposed to be a challenge. 2. If any yank complains about how it's disrespectful consider how Middle Easterners are portrayed in most American games. 3. The hard rock soundtrack doesn't fit at all.
Needs a reset button badly. Stuffing up early and then needing to wait for the rest of the round to finish before you can try again is extremely frustrating.
The first boss could use a rework. I beat it the first time by sitting where it couldn't touch me, and going AFK for 20 minutes - not a fun experience.
That tutorial was infuriating. Let me please experiment a little for Edvard Grieg's sake. I neither need nor want to have click exactly here and nowhere else while reading this redundant paragraph roadblocks to be constantly popping up and treating me like an idiot. The surest way to kill my interest is to treat me like an idiot.
Maybe it's just bugged for me, but the indication reticle does nothing whatsoever. Sometimes I had to stomp when thingsfirst appeared on sceen, and othertimes it only when they already were halfway. It was entirely random, which made it next to impossible to control, and so impossible to enjoy.
The controls are too twitchy and the track is spread apart. That you can't even go for the outside jumps without the risk of missing just spawned white blocks is just no fun at all.
I think that scroll wheel skill switching is already part of "Suggestion Mountain" :D
