Sep 1, 2010 4:41pm Good to know. You know, I have a weakness for such browsergames. Last year I played “Tribal Wars” until there was no time left for anything else. I know that such games can be very time consuming :) Hmmm, maybe I’ll give it a try…just for the badges, of course ;)

Sep 1, 2010 6:42am Hey trollmor, for me it was Monster’s Den which addicted me to Kong :). Protector IV is a good game, but far too easy compared to the first games. Or ist Caesaria different? I see you are already Level 38 though you have begun your career here on Kong a year after myself…thats quite impressive ;) show less

Look at two af the highest ranking games here on Kongregate: “Cursed treasure” and “Upgrade complete”. Those games are incredible stupid (though kind of creative). No story at all, lazy programming and design flaws over and over. But they are so incredible easy, that every douchbag casual gamer can beat them – given enough time. So the people like them. Pearls like “GemCraft” or “Protector” which have a good story and makers really put effort to them, are soon forgotten and ranked down, because people have actually to play them more often and learn to get better. I really think the attention span of an average gamer today is less then 20 minutes. If they are able to get the achievements within this time, they give it a 5/5. If not, they give 0/5. It’s that simple. Sad but true. show less |
