There should be a phalanx halo, yeah it sounds pretty dumb but think of it, you could counter all kinds of things with it, especially artillery halos.

Phalanx halo would be nice, but it would be considered OP by the fools that use projectile weapons such as blasters/cannons/nukes/etc.
