Horray for breaking the game!
Hint: Get a few levels the good ol' fashioned way, then when you start getting the extra modes, go back and turn as many of them on as possible and repeat the early levels. Reset your skills to all XP and agility, then speed. You'll quickly break the curve and be getting two or three level-ups per stage. It works best when you have unlocked the "No Magic" multiplier.
Bwahahaa! After FAR too much time and effort, i got all the badges. Definitely a 4/5 game, not a 5/5. Its fun, but it has some real flaws. Same things as everyone else says; i wont bother to repeat the same thing everyone else has been saying for the last 2million posts.
Its fun but lacking in a couple of Key areas.
Money is too slow. It's not the "Full" game; I enjoyed it but you're really not supposed to post Demo games on Kong. It got to be very slow moving quickly. Each round takes forever, but the rewards dont line up well with the amount of effort/skill involved.
Neat game! I confess i didnt finish because i got kinda tired of it, but it's pretty sweet. The occasions where your floor lines up but you cant pass because the whole panel doesnt kind of bothers me. I'm not sure how else you'd design the game though, so...
Not bad, but not all that impressive either. Its clear that a lot of time and work has gone into this game. However, i also have a personal issue with games that rope you in and then try to get you to pay real money for "game" bonuses.
Yeah, amending my earlier post, I have discovered that the learning curve is indeed steep. However, if you make sure to capitalize on newer towers (Shine towers especially), you can get by. Save your tree upgrades as long as possible to use them as full-health purchases, as it restores your tree to MAX when you do.
This could be an amazing game, but its falls through in two very important areas.
1) No way to increase starting water total. Considering the difficulty increases with each level, the ability to have a higher starting reservoir is almost critical.
2) If point 1 was addresed, it would probably resolve point 2, which is that the difficulty curve is almost impossible. TD-style games are my single favorite class, and i cant make it past the third stage. Perhaps if one weapon was powerful enough to depend heavily on it (as often is the case in TD games), this would not be an issue, but i havent found any "broken" or "overpowered" towers that aren't far too expensive to purchase.
For a First flash game this is awesome. As people have mentioned, a more robust upgrade system would do you well, but aside from that it's pretty sweet! 4/5!
I think i've 5/5'ed every other Bloons game, and this would have gotten a 5 as well but for two things.
First, no checkpoint/save system. That's just annoying.
Second, MAJOR lag in later levels, to the point that i would completely freeze for close to two full seconds at a time. Not very appealing to gameplay.
Really cool game.... the controls suck though. Allow for remapping or at least pick a config that doesnt leave your hands in some mangled position, especially for a lefty.
1/5 and that's a first for me in the Endless War series. The game has bugs (grenades), major balance issues, it feels stale and generic.... Thumbs down Vitaly. I hate to say it like this but... stick to what you were good at. This game stinks.
It's fun, i guess. Short. Beat it in <20 min. STEEP learning curve though - took me a few tries to get the hang of it. Would have been fun if it scaled slower, longer. could have made for a good game with much greater length if a bit of time had been put toward that aim.
fantastic game, with the same comments that others have made: I'm getting a black square glitch at the top ~1/3 of my display, starting roughly around the time i head to the dunes. Also, either increase chest drop rate or make it so high-quality lockpicks allow picking higher-quality chests. backfarming for chests for ages is phenominally tedious.
