I've really enjoyed the game, but I've found that as soon as I purchased the wings it became much more of a challenge. They make it much more annoying to get points, they make the paddles far too clunky and big, and they distract from the overall goal of the game. I got past a 25000 point record before I realized the wings upgrade existed, and it just made the game much more annoying to play after I got it. It might be a bit better if the wings had health points as a group so that the wings don't disappear on all the paddles separately, because it's also annoying to play when some paddles have wings and others don't.
Once you get pretty far in the game, the Merchandise buildings seem to get too expensive in comparison to the population and I can't afford to upgrade the merchandise buildings and get more jobs. Also, it almost never makes any sense to buy Mansions because they are 6x the price of Houses and Houses are for the most part way less than 6x the price of the Mansions. Metal is for the most part useless, and it really just builds up until I start buying more merchandise buildings when it runs out extremely fast.
The balance in this game isn't great, but I'm still trying to get as far as I can.
