Brilliant game, beautiful art, but the extra blocks of ice threw me off so much I sat there trying to get a pixie that wasn't a pixie for like 20 minutes before I gave up and looked at that map.
Honestly this game has it's novelty, the sword power up for souls remaining makes it a little bit ridiculous. Honestly to beat the entire game though I used 3 blocks Evil Eye, Sleeper, and Piercing. That's all it takes, there is not too much strategy to it, although I like the side view, it's an interesting contrast to the top view. I got perfect on Survival on my first try and I think you should increase the difficulty of it a bit again. All and all, I give the game 3.5/5. Interesting, but not challenging or overly enjoyable, however I'm taken care of for whatever additional badges this game may get in the future.
I can honestly say I didn't care for it, I played it all the way through, the levels had the dynamics to them that made them engulfing, however the game just didn't play smoothly enough for me. The character flailed while jumping which is fine, however he flailed as if he was going to fall 100 ft. every time he jumped. The running motion wasn't smooth nor was the leap as he tried to get across these gaps. Overall it played ok, and the story was... subpar. I gave it a 3/5.
This game is atrocious, and what is it doing in the puzzle category anyways? I thought games that required thought belonged here, not games that required luck.
