Damn, I've spent about an hour and managed to get "qua" prefix twice; both times I had it, I couldn't get a single suffix to get any other qx words, despite making it to over 18,000 meters one run lol.
I find it amusing how much trouble people are having with this game. Play it through and beat it once to get a feel for the controls, then go back and play smarter/better. Beat the game with 26 lives remaining, and it did not take long at all. Don'rt ragequit and blame the game's physics just because this game didn't spoonfeed you your badges. This is how Kong badges used to be: moderately challenging, with some time required. If you don't like it, go play idles.
Anyone else mix the Antibiotics with the Plant Cells and Blood before getting the acid? I got stuck for 45 minutes before reading a comment saying I had to use the acid with two other things... I get why it wouldn't work, but technically it makes the same compound...
Great series of games! I not only agree with the previous comment regarding the Lovecraft style, but I also love the "three-headed monkey" reference to the Monkey Island games.
I left the volume on as requested considering there was voice acting. I immediately muted upon hearing the voice "acting." Not to mention the script...
Although a negative rating is sure to come, I have to agree with King_Angusii. This is surely one of my least favorite games to play and it makes the pixel challenge tedious. There are far worse games on Kongregate; however, I will not persist in earning the last pixel challenge badge. This game, has thoroughly ruined the fun I was having today.
Whelp, yet another comment. I have killed 67 Spitters and counting IN A ROW, whilst searching for a Thanator for the Thanator Tooth quest. Not even a Gornak to break the monotony. I give up.
Well, everything was going fine, but then my guy took off a ran off the screen somehow. He was surrounded by an all black screen. I was able to get back onto the screen by "Swimming" through the water and then was able to exit Bavelock by walking on rooftops. Now I can't evter the city anymore, although I can enter the forest and the cemetery. But the autosave activated because I did that, so now my game is stuck. I can no longer enter Bavelock, and I have start over... It was an awesome game up until this glitch.
Everyone is saying how awesome the end song is... I literally just started, and all I can think of is how awesome it was that they ELO's Mister Blue Sky as their opening song. Oi! Have a pint for me, yeah?
