Nice how the puzzles allow you to advance the story with some gameplay, but without a long pause between parts of the plotline. The puzzles, as a game, would stink, but the game is awesome in and of itself. It is a rare game that can earn a 5 on plotline alone, reserved only, from me, for this game, Starwish, or MARDEK 3 (although MARDEK has good gameplay on top of the storyline). Awesome game, excellent story, 5/5, fav'ed and even my third game ever (after the two listed above) to receive a kred-donation.
@united98: there is a way to copy your save file. You just have to find where it's stored on borrowed your computer and copy it to the appropriate location on your new computer.
There also needs to be a "get pushed around less by enemies" upgrade. I could win the last fight if I could just MOVE LIKE I WANTED TO MOVE! Arrow keys to move - hah! More like "get knocked back to move, except only into the corner."
3/5. KO bar doesn't work consistently - when I'm in the bar both before AND after I press the spacebar, it still says I fail sometimes. Just... shouldn't do this. I enjoy the game, but this problem frustrates me too greatly for me to give it more.
@anyone who has the password but cannot proceed: just type the password. No "say" or anything, just type the entire password in one line. As for the game, 4/5 - reasonably enjoyable, especially for its length, and definitely hit the creepy tone well (especially the music!), but the lack of explanation of the password had me stuck for a bit too.
@mikuel333: Doublethink. As soon as you switch to being a vegetarian, you've always been a vegetarian, and so you've always had broccoli - why would you have bacon? And, as soon as you're not a vegetarian, why would you ever have broccoli when you could have bacon? So, you convince yourself that all you've ever had was the other substance, and poof! You only have the other substance.
@Jackyl911: Reach max lvl. (actually, one less than max, at which point getting the same amount of experience over again will get you the hard/impossible ascension).
@JH159753: Nothing, I think. It does say that they're useless now.
@tama99: That happened to me too, the first time. It was my first crystal, though, so I got the crystal badge... and then immediately lost the crystal. Kept the badge though. :P
Just a thought- In the Button Machine, why do they "invincibility star" the repair button over 9000 times and not just the button that gives you rewards?
@PITERPICHER If you meet Darkruler in the Titled Zone of Awesome Adventures, you can trade some currencies like that. It doesn't always work, though...
There should be a "confirm" button for purchasing careers. I was trying to exit the Career screen and accidentally activated Idler for 300,000,000 coins because I had Gardener blessed from a random career potion. :(
Eh. I mean, there's simple/minimalist, then there's simple of a concept that's been done to the death already. If you're going to be minimalist, you have to be a unique minimalist, in my opinion, else you simply fall into the pit that is "generic games." 3/5.
