A suggestion: Check at the beginning of a fight whether the mouse is clicked. If you start clicking too early, then you move around as if you weren't clicking; this is annoying, so I'd recommend fixing this problem by checking the initial status of the mouse.
5/5, Solid not-too-difficult game - I love how when you upgrade, you visibly see a drastic difference in your attacks and how quickly they kill the bosses. The dodging of attacks rather than attack patterns is only fun for a short time, but the game is short, so that's fine. Only thing I would add is perhaps a manual-target-mode with you being able to kill the little bugs - the homing bugs, the bug shooters, and perhaps even the 8-shooter cocoons. That would have been a nice addition to add more challenge. Still, good enough game for a 5 from me.
My conclusion: Not too difficult if you don't divide; eating is really annoying, division is pointless, and you can't eat enemies when they're stunned because you circle around them. Plenty good mechanics, but the poor eating brings it down to a 4/5.
This is a game that needs badges. I like the one-death-kill system - it's like the old-fashioned games, and that's not a bad thing in a game like this. Game is easy enough that I'm progressing through it without much difficulty, but I feel like it needs something to motivate you to go through it. Still, nothing wrong with the game, I just personally can't work up the motivation to get through it, because I don't see the cookie at the end (I'm at level 5 or so). I'll freely admit, though, that I'm a difficult player to get the attention of. In any case, 5/5, because my not playing is my fault, not the fault of the game, and this game deserves at least one badge.
Also, everything PinkZ says is true, except for the one-hit-kills - there's a more complex, confusing health system that depends on whether your pieces are together, how much evolution you have (it reduces your evolution bar), etc.
Not much too it - simple avoider game. Frustratingly difficult. 4/5 - simple, but with a new element; on the other hand, the health system is confusing and I'm not personally much for avoider games.
The level recommendations are way off at higher levels. I managed to beat Challenge 4 (Insane Difficulty, Recommended Level 24-30, Explosives Only) only using my level 14 medic. It wasn't even extremely difficult.
In easy and normal levels AI is kept a big dumb.
