Getting great score is pretty simple. There is a in-game hint that monsters get better when you level up. SO! dont buy more pixel skill or pixel atract skill. Just focus on spread and fire speed> you can also add some points to Points skill. Try to stay in place, dont run all over the map, and avoid collecting pixels for as long as you can. you will level up slower, but get much more points, and, after all you will be more powerful than other way. Anyway great relaxing game.
