there doesnt appear to be any scoring involved which means theres no incentive to block the ball... its better to just let it go by if you cant return it towards one of the weapons in the center. it should really have both a score and life system with both of them being a way to win/lose. the weapons are super easy to avoid for both the player and the computer and with no incentive to chase the ball down and the high number of hits it takes to kill the opponent matches take way too long
bought silver mystery box. inside was a gold mystery box. inside that was 3k time crystals plus another diamond mystery box. inside THAT mystery box was a 50 hour time warp... what have i gotten myself into?
i was gonna rate this game 3 stars; well made, has an audience but not particularly for me. then i saw the 'rate storm wars' challenge where you begged for ratings and then claimed 4 out of 5 stars was a bad rating (because its below your 4.12 at time of writing score) and that 3 out of 5 meant i was rating the game as basically terrible and unplayable. so you get a 2 out of 5 for shameless bulls****ing
buying the monsters to farm areas is a decent idea in theory, but in execution its just a waste of resources. by the time you can start buying monsters for an area, the amount of money you get from farming there is basically just a drop in the ocean. at the end of the day it ends up just being a way to cut down time on gathering white orbs, but considering you still need to go into each area to finish it off and kill the king it isnt saving much time. it would be nice to be able to buy the king of an area even if you put an extra black orb requirement on that (area 2 requires 3 black orbs before you can buy monsters, have it require 4 black orbs and all the monsters bought before you can buy the king).
the 'go to (world) map' button is kinda useless, at least in later game, when the only reason to go to the world map is because you cleared a kingdom, including its king. the problem is theres no way to get to the king without going to the kingdom map and since youve already got the kingdom map up its a lot easier to go to the world map from the kingdom map instead of switching back to the minions tab and hit the world map button.
Yeah, it's an unfortunate artifact of the engine where it pauses when it loses focus. It should resume if you click back in the game window - if not, let us know and we'll look into it.
wait a second... Sent started the timer when the first contestant woke up, but wouldnt tell anyone what was going on until all 5 woke up and placed their hand on the first screen. Im beginning to think this whole thing isnt completely fair!
fun game, but its far too random. ive had runs where ive gotten 3 keys on a single floor and never saw a single locked door and runs where id see 4 locked doors per floor and never saw a key. ive had runs where ive seen traders 2 floors in a row and runs where i never saw a trader once. ive had runs where ive had 40+ of both mushrooms after 3 floors and runs where i could never hold onto more than 3 at a time. ive gone down a floor and been surrounded by 8 rangers/mages. ive literally started a run next to a class book. im all for random, and that is kinda a defining feature of this game type but this is far too much.
id love to see challenge options. ie all enemies equipped with shotguns/assault rifles, any weapon you pick up becomes a pistol, time moves 2/3/4/5x faster than default when not moving.
the biggest issue with this game is the start. all the cheapest upgrades are pretty much made to only get you distance and as 'progression is planned around performing moves' as you say, distance helps very little.
The problems start very early in the game and unfortunately they don't stop there. None of the players that stayed enough to make 50+ jumps have made more than $15k on a single jump, by then they should have all upgrades and moves and be making $50k+ per jump. It needs some work on the balance, but mostly better guidance.
as many have said before: this is not an idle game as 'service' is not automated, nor is there anyway to make it automated. but worse than that, buying upgrades (aside from more mechanics) actually makes the game MORE difficult because it causes the gear costs to go up.
interesting game, great art style. one thing id love to see for a sequel, if you make one, is multiple endings. let us show off the good and the bad and then have endings based on how good/bad the overall finish is. you can still keep the general message the same by having the good moments be less frequent and less influential but it gives the player something to strive for.
a non-idle game in which the most efficient way to make money and progress is to only show up once a day to collect a chest and watch an ad then do a single launch so it saves your purchases. truly this is the pinnacle of the amazing 'Burrito Bison' series
if you intend to keep the ads than i would suggest either lowering the number of pinatas but increasing the rewards they give proportionately or have the ads for pinatas be optional like the ads for chests so you can not watch the ad and get 2 rewards or what the ad and get the whole 4.
loved the first one, played it several times over. having a lot of trouble with this one. not being able to reset upgrades is a big part of it. having to go back and grind levels to get a slightly better score... which then ends up being so small that it doesnt award any extra money is frustrating. it just becomes grinding the same level a dozen times to get 1 achievement for $50 which is 1/5 of what it takes to buy the cheapest upgrade available.
If you stuck at some level, just try different approach. Build plant in another place, repair special buildings in different order, buy new transport or save money for extra plant and so on.
It is possible to complete levels up to 12 with bronze results even without upgrades at all. Though, of course, it will be harder and harder.
Just remember to always keep you plants busy to maximize profit.
As for the upgrades, each upgrade gives you about the same level of extra profit.
Except for the order related. They give a good bonus if you aiming for the big orders, but less useful if you prefer hunting the small, but expensive orders.
the descriptions can be very misleading. football shaped head means a round head, but anyone in america playing this is going to think its something else. the difference between a cylindrical head and a head as long as a horses isnt clear especially when you add the beards that cover half the face. then you got descriptions about how a guy is buff and another about how the person likes to go to the gym and somehow that doesnt mean theyre buff as well? theres 'ready for a midlife crisis' which could be anything from early 40s to late 50s depending on a persons interpretation. and theres ones that seemingly have no meaning like 'ready to make plans.' combine all this with the ever increasing suspect pool but with a flat rate gain of ap between cases and this game is over fast and for reasons that most of the time the player cannot understand. all of that really kills the replayability of an otherwise very pleasant and cute game.
You mean, it has a learning curve. Takes time to figure out what means what. There are plenty of people who did and therefore achived the max rank (30+ cases in a row).
