Just got all of the medals in Elona Shooter! YEEESSS!!!
(Ahem) Fantastic game, I love the blending of a roguelike into a shooter! Very challenging, takes a great deal of strategy, both static and dynamic. A little annoyed at the bosses that could fire from OFF of the screen, but no complaints besides. Easily a 5/5, hope to see more from this dev in the future.
This game suffers a lot from the screen to screen loading, and I've had a lot of trouble with the in-game battles lagging. This would be alright if the in-game battle lag was compensated for better, but more often than not, you simply lose your action. An incredible amount of frustration.... 1/5
This is fantastic! I love the atmosphere. The fear, the sense of losing one's sanity, and sense of taking an old memory from a comfortable place in our hearts and flipping it around all combine to make an awesome overall experience. This is the first game in a long while that I've immediately 5/5ed! Congrats on a job well done.
The mines are a nice touch, but since the damage isn't really scaled so all the damage mines become pretty useless. Also "mines" are a bit misleading, seeing as how the best use for them is as of grenades, especially since they can be placed anywhere on the map. The game could use a lot of balancing in terms of mines and upgrade points. Also, the achievements section is buggy... all the "achievements" when completed appear the same as the easy achievement. Also, the kill achievements are all WAY out of bounds. Nobody is going to kill 15k of these enemies... even if they complete the entire game 10 times over. All in all, while the graphics and the charm are quite nice, gameplay issues and blatant bugs bring it down. 2/5
First off, let me say the presentation and graphics were excellent. Also, it gets points for originality, I haven't seen many shooters with waves like this, and the defense TD elements are a nice though. Unfortunately, that's really all I can say. The documentation for one, is faulty. There is no current way to upgrade the range of your gun. Also, information about the spawn points and healing points would have been nice. Also, the next wave button is kind of useless, because it can only be called once, and there's no reason why you would want to rush it in a game like this. The post-win-game interface for one is broken, it simply doesn't work. Also, any place you click on the screen (including menu buttons and such) will cause your bunny to fire.
