Do not worry, you will get your gems back after a soft reset! And if you wish to receive a warning when you press the Excavation button, there is a convenient option in the Options tab.
I like this game a lot, hoping to watch it turn into a gem so i thought i would leave a comment and a suggestion. The repair time for ships is horrible, i play this game as a non-idle game and that means that if i dare take on something that could blow even one ship up i have to wait 5 minutes to get that ship back. If i somehow manage to lose my entire fleet then i'm stuck waiting 5 minutes to do anything at all. i understand the coin thing but cutting that time in half could easily cut out some of that frustration and you would still get some coins spent on it. It might also keep people more addicted since less wait time means more farming and getting stronger and since this games seems to need an upgrade in ships to get much stronger the chance system should still keep them somewhat in place.

First thanks for playing, we're glad you like it. The repair time is there because we want players to consider the risk and reward of a battle. We actually tested a few points, and the amount of time it is set at now felt the best. Low level ships will repair faster, and if you lose your high level ships, you can still pick weaker targets with your remaining fleet.
Cant walk around or anything still, i read instructions carefully and have done everything i could cause i thought it was a really neat idea for an idle game. I'm stuck looking at the players house. its been like this since a little while after this game was put on kongregate for me. If you find the extra free time can you please fix this?ive been waiting a while!
it let me go to player mode once but now for some reason its stuck in view of some kind of building and just clears the menu's when i hit tab or 0. i cleared my game and started again but its still stuck
